Chlorella vulgaris has shown to be instrumental in preventing conditions such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, and several types of cancers. Chlorella is rich in vitamin A, iron, and zinc and contains a fair amount of protein, magnesium, vitamin B3, and vitamin B2. Chlorella can be obtained in tablet or powdered form. Chlorella powder should be mixed into smoothies to combat the strong flavor.
