Where to Shop in San Diego

If you find yourself in this beautiful west coast city and want to do some shopping in-between surfing, sunbathing and site seeing, there are a few routes you can take, depending what you’re looking for.

For a wide variety of upscale shopping, check out Fashion Valley Center in the city’s Mission Valley neighborhood. The two-story outdoor mall boasts a Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Tiffany store, plus some great boutiques. If you want big brands at a bargain, Las Americas Outlets in San Ysidro have what you need, including Victoria Secret, Gymboree, Brooks Brothers and Forever 21 outlets. And it’s all at very low prices.

San Diego also offers great boutique shopping. Arts districts like North Park and Hillcrest offer a variety of boho chic boutiques and vintage shops like Hunt n’ Gather, Twirl and Flasbhacks. Hunt n’ Gather specializes in carefully curated and altered vintage pieces with hipster flare, and Flasbhacks stocks gently used vintage pieces and trendy designer pieces.

So whether you’re looking for designer pieces or one-of-a-kind blasts from the past, you’ll find that San Diego offers plenty of great choices for your shopping experience.
